Connect to #Daria in Quakenet.irc.org

Before you connect, please take the time to review the rules for chatting in #Daria!

Sorry but I can no longer allow access to the IRC channel through the server I am on. I recommend you download mIRC and use that to connect if you need to. There is a nice guide for connect to mIRC that origon has written. It makes it very easy to connect and chat!

You'll have to install the java that it prompts you to install, to get it to work. After it's installed you should be able to successfully connect. You'll automatically be joined into #daria. Also, as soon as you connect, you'll probably want to change your nick. Use the /nick <nickname> to change it. :) To look at some more commands, see below.

Dawn of Daria has a chat room located in channel #daria in quakenet.irc.org. This java applet allows you to directly connect to it and any other channels on the quaknet server and chat with it. If you are not aware of how to connect or the rules, please read below. If you would like to connect through a stand-alone client that you can download, I reccomend mIRC.

/join <channel> This joins a channel, don't forget to include the pound (#) in front of the channel name.
/leave <message> This leaves a channel, The message is optional, it would be displayed when you leave.
/nick <name> This changes your displayed nickname to whatever you specify it to be.
/me <message> This displays an email that looks like this: * Talonz wacks xofia around a bit with a trout.
/query <message> This will send a "private" message to another user on the server, and start a private chat.
/quit <message> This disconnects you from the server - the message is optional, it's shown when you leave.
